ABOUT

John Church
JDC MotorSports Founder

JDC MotorSports was founded in 1994 by Minnesota native, John Church.

What began as a small operation focused on Formula Ford customer programs has grown significantly over the years. The Formula Ford program evolved into the USF2000 and Star Mazda Championships where JDC found great success.

In 2011, JDC made its first step into the IMSA Series competing in the IMSA Prototype Lites Series. JDC claimed a record 32 consecutive IMSA Prototype Lites wins as a team. IMSA is where JDC decided to stay and expand the team by entering the Michelin Pilot Challenge Series and ultimately contending in the top level as well, which is now known as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Today, the JDC and JDC-Miller MotorSports teams include the Porsche 963 GTP LMDh in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4RS in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS Class, and on a limited basis the Oreca 07 LMP2 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. JDC’s 24,000-square-foot facility is based in Savage, MN.
