08/31/2010 - SECOND CONSECUTIVE STAR MAZDA PODIUM FOR JDC MOTORSPORTS IN ROUND 12 BOWMANVILLE, ONT. (August 31, 2010) – JDC MotorSports continued its late season run of form on Saturday (August 28) at Mosport International Raceway in Canada, adding another podium finish and Masters Series win to its already impressive Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear resume. Rookie of the Year leader Connor De Phillippi captured his second consecutive third place result in Round 12, and was joined in the top-10 by 2010 race winner Caio Lara in seventh and rookie racer Chris Miller in eighth. Team co-owner Gerry Kraut scored his fourth Masters win of the season with a 17th place result, while Mikhail Goikhberg was classified 19th after a crash in his series debut.
08/24/2010 - STAR MAZDA PODIUM FOR JDC MOTORSPORTS IN WISCONSIN ELKHART LAKE, WIS. (August 24, 2010) – JDC MotorSports paid another visit to the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear podium on Saturday (August 21), with rookie leader Connor De Phillippi finishing third in Round 11 at Road America. Initially it appeared fellow rookie racer Chris Miller and Masters Series standout Gerry Kraut would add solid results to the Minnesota team’s resume, however a mechanical failure and contact ended their days prematurely in 17th and 18th respectively. Series race winner Caio Lara was unfortunately unable to take part in the Wisconsin event, due to travel restrictions as a result of his passport and visa being stolen at the previous event in Canada.
08/24/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS REVISITS USF2000 PODIUM AT ROAD AMERICA ELKHART LAKE, WIS. (August 24, 2010) – JDC MotorSports returned to the Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda podium over the weekend (August 21-22), scoring two runner-up finishes during Rounds Nine and Ten at Road America. Rookie standout Mikhail Goikhberg led the Minnesota-based team charge on its home track, taking home two second place trophies. Fellow rookie star Raphael Abbate showed his talents behind the wheel as well in Wisconsin, adding a pair of top-five results. Unfortunately, Martin Sala was forced to watch from the sidelines, following racing injury in practice.
08/11/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS SEEKING SECOND CONSECUTIVE TROIS-RIVIERES WIN MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (August 11, 2010) – JDC MotorSports’ returns to ‘La Belle Province’ this weekend (August 14-15), seeking to add another win on the streets of Trois-Rivieres to its racing resume during Round 10 of the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear. With 2010 race winner Caio Lara and Rookie of the Year candidates Connor De Phillippi and Chris Miller getting behind the wheels, the Minnesota-based team has three drivers more than capable of winning a second consecutive race on the challenging Quebec street circuit.
08/09/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS IMPRESSES IN RETURN TO F2000 CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES ELKHART LAKE, WI. (August 9, 2010) – JDC MotorSports’ return to the F2000 Championship Series this past weekend (August 7-8) at Road America proved to be quite successful, with one top-five and four top-10 results. Mikhail Goikhberg narrowly missed a podium finish in Round 11 with a fourth place, while in Round 12 he crossed the stripe in ninth place. Fellow series rookie Gerry Kraut added two top-10s to the squad’s resume, finishing ninth and eighth in the Wisconsin doubleheader.
08/06/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS REJOINS F2000 CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES AT ROAD AMERICA MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (August 5, 2010) – Junior formula car standout JDC MotorSports rejoins the F2000 Championship Series this weekend (August 7-8), with a two-car effort in Rounds 11 and 12 at Road America. USF2000 National Championship title contender Mikhail Goikhberg and Star Mazda Masters champion Gerry Kraut will get behind the wheel during the doubleheader, seeking to gain not only added track time at the famed Wisconsin road course, but also challenge for top honors.
08/04/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS RETURNS TO STAR MAZDA PODIUM AT AUTOBAHN JOLIET, ILL. (August 4, 2010) – JDC MotorSports continued its recent run of form in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear this past weekend (July 31-August 1) at the Autobahn Country Club circuit in Illinois. Brazilian Caio Lara led the way, scoring a runner-up result in Round Eight, before finishing ninth in Round 10. American rookie standout Connor De Phillippi added a top-five in race two of the doubleheader, while fellow rookie Chris Miller challenged for top-10 results in both races. Team co-owner Gerry Kraut and local track standout Jeff Garibotti – making his series debut with the team – narrowly missed taking home top honors in the Masters class.
08/04/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS USF2000 PODIUM STREAK ENDS AT AUTOBAHN JOLIET, ILL. (August 4, 2010) – JDC MotorSports exits this past weekend’s (July 31-August 1) Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda doubleheader at the Autobahn Country Club unable to have extended its four-race podium run. The talented trio of Raphael Abbate, Mikhail Goikhberg and Martin Sala showed the speed and skill to keep the streak alive, however incidents relegated the Minnesota-based squad to one top-five and five top-10s at the Illinois road course.
07/28/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS CONTINUES QUEST FOR STAR MAZDA GLORY AT AUTOBAHN JOLIET, ILL. (July 30, 2010) – The pursuit of a third Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear title continues for JDC MotorSports this weekend (July 24-25), when the renowned junior formula car squad travels to the Autobahn Country Club circuit in Illinois for Rounds Eight and Nine. The Minnesota-based team enters the doubleheader not only as a continued threat for several series honors – thanks to Connor De Phillippi, Gerry Kraut, Caio Lara and Chris Miller getting behind the wheels – but also as one of the hottest teams in series competition, following a race win in Round Six.
07/28/2010 - JDC MOTORSPORTS READY TO CONTINUE USF2000 PODIUM STREAK AT AUTOBAHN JOLIET, ILL. (July 28, 2010) – JDC MotorSports’ pursuit of Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda glory continues this weekend (July 31-August 1), when Rounds Seven and Eight are contested at the Autobahn Country Club circuit outside of Chicago, Ill. With Raphael Abbate, Mikhail Goikhberg and Martin Sala once again getting behind the wheels, the Minnesota-based squad enters the doubleheader second in the team standings, and having had at least one driver on the podium in the past four races.
